NCC Receives New Chemical Tanker NCC FAJR
National Chemical Carriers Ltd. Co. (NCC) of Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (BAHRI) announced that the company received a new chemical tanker named “NCC FAJR” from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. Ltd. (DSME) of South Korea on Wednesday, 18th December 2013.
“NCC FAJR” is the first of its kind and it is a highly sophisticated chemical tanker with DWT of 75,000 tons, (DNV) classification, full (IMO 2) notations and with cargo capacity of 86,000 cubic meters comprising (31) Zinc coated tanks with (31) full segregations.
With this addition, NCC now operates a fleet of 24 vessels specialized in transporting chemicals, vegoils and clean petroleum products and with DWT capacity of more than 1.1 million tons.
