Lindorm, Inc. in Miami is releasing two new SediMeter versions. The SediMeter measures a vertical turbidity profile through the bottom using an array of 36 OBSes, with 1 cm spacing. The bottom level is also estimated based on the collected data. The SediMeter was designed for studying erosion, sediment accumulation, siltation, scour and sediment transport on the bottom of the sea, lakes, reservoirs and streams. These new models are permanently sealed and use rechargeable batteries.
