Newbuilding Prices Stable amid Slack Buying
Fincantieri has secured an order from MSC Cruises for two 154,000gt cruise vessels which will be the largest cruise vessels yet to be built by the Italian yard with a price tag of 700 mill EUR each.
The Spanish shipyard LaNaval has entered the Ferry market after securing contract for delivery of a 1750pax/350cars dual fuel ferry from the Dutch company Texel Eigen.
In its latest weekly report, Fearnleys also said that more orders could be expected within the LPG segment over the next weeks as yards are reporting high enquiry activity for this ship type.
Newbuilding prices remain stable.
