Petrobras Extends Contract for Pipe Layer Skandi Vitória

Petrobras has extended the contract for Skandi Vitória with two years from September 2013.
DOF Subsea said in a press release that the extension of the charter contract is done in line with the current market.
The vessel is owned through a joint venture formed by DOF Subsea, a subsidiary of DOF ASA together with Technip.
Skandi Vitória is the first pipe-lay vessel built in Brazil, equipped with vertical and horizontal pipe-lay systems, a 250 mt crane and 2 ROVs. The vessel is capable of operating in water depths up to 3,000 meters.
