PSA Sical Sees Record Container Volume in March PSA Indian PSA Sical Terminals Limited (PSA Sical) reached its highest ever monthly throughput in March 2016 as it handled 50,225 TEUs. This is an immense achievement given the severe capacity constraints and challenging environment PSA Sical is facing, Mike Formoso, Managing Director of PSA India, said. It is heartening to note that Tuticorin Port container volumes have scaled a record high at 61,390 TEU for the month of March 2016, Joe Villavarayar, President of Tuticorin Shipagents Association, said. PSA Sical, a joint venture between PSA India and Sical Logistics, was inaugurated in December 1999 and is one of Indias first foreign invested container terminals. The terminal, located along the Europe-Far East trade route, is linked to the major trade hinterland industrial clusters and cities such as Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Madurai and Tirupurby state.
