Report: Samsung Heavy Wins Four More VLCC Orders? zoomIllustration; Image Courtesy: Agritrade Resources South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has received an order for four more very large crude carriers (VLCCs), according to data provided by VesselsValue.  This time the order was allegedly placed by Greece-based holding company Capital Maritime and Trading on May 3. The price the Greek company will pay for the four 320,000 tankers was not disclosed. VesselsValues data shows that the quartet is expected to be delivered to Capital by the end of 2019. World Maritime News contacted both companies for more details on the matter, however, the parties are yet to reply. Earlier this week, BW Group ordered four crude carriers at SHI. Under the agreement, which is worth USD 378.4 billion, the shipbuilder is expected to deliver the vessels by July 2019.
