Report: Vietnamese Tanker Collides with Warship TPL Shipping A small chemical tanker Everrich 3, owned by Vietnamese TPL Shipping, was involved in a collision with a Taiwanese warship, the Taipei Times reports. The 1995-built chemical tanker, flying the Panamanian flag, reportedly hit the stern of the Tsoying (DDG-1803) belonging to the Republic of China (Taiwan) Navy, while pulling out of the port. The warship was berthed at a pier of Kaohsiung’s Cijin Harbor at the time of the incident. An investigation into the collision is said to be underway. There have been no reports of potential crew injuries or environmental pollution resulting from the collision. The ships latest AIS data from Marine Traffic shows that the tanker is stopped in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. TPL Shipping is yet to provide World Maritime News with a comment on the matter.
