Scandlines Ferry Damaged while Undocking at Remontowa zoom Scandlines ferry Prinsesse Benedikte was damaged while undocking last week at the Polish shipyard Remontowa, where it was undergoing scrubber installation. The ferry was about to be floated out after undergoing three weeks of installation work at the yard when the floating dock it was in keeled over causing the ferry to slip down the keel block. The ferrys engine room was flooded in the process as well. Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the accident. The shipyard is currently assessing the extent of damage and the necessary repairs, Scandlines said in a statement. Danish-flagged Prinsesse Benedikte is operating on the Puttgarden-Rødby route. The RoPAX has the capacity to carry 364 cars and 1,140 passengers.
