Scorpio Bulkers Finds Work for the Coming Newbuilding zoom NYSE-listed dry bulk specialist Scorpio Bulkers Inc. has agreed to time charter-out one Capesize currently under construction at a Sungdong shipyard, South Korea. The 180,000 dwt SBI Montesino is expected to be delivered in July, 2015. Upon delivery from the shipyard, the SBI Montesino will be chartered-out to an unnamed European charterer for 4-7 months at USD 14,500 per day. Scorpio Bulkers currently has 51 newbuildings under construction at shipyards in Japan, South Korea, and China. Upon final delivery of all of the vessels the companys fleet is expected to have a total carrying capacity of approximately 5.4 million dwt.
