Skangass Tops Out Pori LNG Terminal zoom Swedens liquefied natural gas (LNG) provider  Skangass topped out its first LNG terminal in Finland on Friday, April 24. Skangass is investing EUR 86 million (USD 90.2m) in the Pori LNG import terminal, with additional EUR 23 million granted for the project by the Finnish Ministry for Employment and the Economy. The terminal will provide LNG for shipping and Finnish industries currently dependent on fuel oil and liquefied petroleum gas. The terminal area will comprise the LNG storage tank (height 35 m, outer diameter 42 m), loading docks, process units, flare torch, three loading docks for road tankers, a transformer building and a heat production unit. The terminal is planned to be finished in autumn 2016 and will have a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters. The Pori LNG terminal will be the third Skangass terminal in the Nordic countries, with the company already operating terminals in Lysekil, Sweden, and the Øra terminal in Norway. Skangass also has a long-term LNG supply contract with the company Risavika LNG Production.
