Stabbing Incident aboard Bulk Carrier off Delaware Genco Challenger
According to the USA Today, the incident that occurred off the coast of Bethany Beach, Delaware aboard the Hong Kong-flagged bulk carrier, owned by Genco Shipping & Trading Limited,  left two dead and one injured.
Initial findings indicate that one of the ships crew stabbed two of his crew members before jumping overboard. The individuals involved are foreign nationals.
Once the Coast Guard was informed of the incident, it sent boats and helicopters to the site. The stabbing victims were medevaced to a nearby hospital while the body was located at about 5 p.m. Friday, less than one mile from the vessel.
Circumstances involving the accident remain to be determined.
The Coast Guard said that the violence is under investigation by Hong Kong and the U.S. State Department.
