Statoil Declares Option for Østensjøs Tugs (Norway)
Østensjø Rederi announced that Statoil has declared their option for Østensjøs tugs Ajax, Velox, Audax including the mooring tugs Rex and Fox for the operation at the Statoil Sture Terminal.
This means that the tugs are firm until 1st December 2014.
Østensjø Rederi is involved in mooring operations at oil and gas terminals. This includes mooring launches as well as the handling of shore based mooring/linehandling personnel. Østensjø also provides loading master functions and jetty administration for terminals. The tugs and ancillary crafts are presently in service at oil and gas terminals in the UK, Ireland, and Norway.
