STX Offshore Clinches Two-Tanker Order

zoom South Koreas STX Offshore & Shipbuilding has won an order from an unnamed Singapore-based shipping company, possibly BW Group, for two LR1 oil tankers. Through the new contract, the shipbuilder will add KRW 106 billion (USD 95 million) to its order book. The tankers are expected to be delivered to BW Pacific Ltd. between 2016 and 2017, Yonhap reports. World Maritime News Staff
