Uljanik Hands Over Asphalt Carrier to Wisby Tankers zoomPalanca Rio; Image Courtesy: Uljanik Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik has delivered Palanca Cadiz, a 15,000 dwt asphalt carrier, to Swedish shipping company Wisby Tankers. The tanker was launched at Uljaniks 3. Maj shipyard in mid-April 2016, according to the shipbuilder. The Marshall Islands-flagged newbuilding features a length of 133 meters and a width of 23 meters. Market value of the newly built tanker currently stands at USD 22.87 million, according to data provided by VesselsValue. Palanca Cadiz is the second 15,000 dwt asphalt tanker built for Wisby Tankers. Launched in June 2015, Palanca Rio, the first vessel, was delivered to its owner in 2016, VesselsValues data shows.
