Unifeeder Buys Tschudis Liner Business

zoom Danish shortsea shipping specialist Unifeeder A/S has acquired the liner activities of Tschudi Logistics, a subsidiary of the Norwegian private shipping and investment company Tschudi Group. Unifeeder says that the combination of liner services of the two companies will offer the most comprehensive shortsea network in Northern Europe with the most extensive coverage of ports. Going forward Unifeeder will be offering the former Tschudi services under the brand name “Tschudi Express.” With this acquisition Unifeeder says it has become the largest shortsea operator in North Europe; offering biggest capacity and expected to carry more shortsea TEU than any other carrier in the region.
