Update 2: Indonesian Ferry Death Toll Jumps to 63 Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency Forty more bodies were recovered from the sea, bringing the death toll to 63, after a passenger vessel Marina Baru capsized off Sulawesi, Indonesia, on December 19. According to the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency, a total of 40 people survived, while over a dozen more are still missing. The agency added that the search and rescue efforts will continue until Saturday. The ferry, carrying 118 passengers on board, was en route from the port of Kolaka to Bansalae, Sulawesi, when it was hit by 10 feet high waves. Search and rescue teams managed to pull out most of the survivors, as well as the vessels captain, in the following two days. World Maritime News Staff
