Video: Naming of First Philippine-Built LPG Carrier zoom Teekay LNG and Belgiums Exmar held a naming ceremony for M/V Kaprijke on August 24 at Hanjin Heavy Industries Corporations Subic Shipyard, the first ever liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrier to be built in the Philippines. M/V Kaprijke is the first of eight midsize gas carriers Teekay LNG and Exmar ordered in February 2013 for their joint venture company  EXMAR LPG BVBA. Back in December 2012, Teekay LNG and Exmar entered into an agreement to create a 50/50 joint venture operating in the LPG carrier segment with a primary focus on midsize gas carriers.
