The vessel is currently under construction at Japanese Imabari shipyard and is scheduled for delivery in December 2018, according to Wallem. Wallem also managed Sanasias vessel Golden Fan for more than 20 years, starting in 1995. As explained, Golden Fan was the companys first vessel which Haruki Aono, Sanasias director, secured to be operated out of the region. Wallem was entrusted with the management of six more PCTC vessels for the company in subsequent years. “We have long appreciated Wallem’s commitment to an emphasis on safety and the level of attention to detail that is taken to ensure that our vessels are kept in optimum condition over the years. In fact, thanks to Wallem’s management, the Golden Fan had a longer than normal lifespan, Aono commented. Image Courtesy: Shipspotting
