Wave Gliders have been roaming the seas on a variety of missions since 2007, helping to address the biggest challenges the world faces, including global climate change, national security, hurricane and tsunami warning and offshore energy and resource management.Liquid Robotics said that at any given time, you can find Wave Gliders deployed around the globe—from the volcanic islands of the Canaries to the busy shipping lanes of the North Sea. The map show some of the areas in which Wave Gliders operated in 2012 and 2013.
