Winning Shipping to Expand Fleet with Capesize Bulker zoomIllustration; Image Courtesy: Winning Shipping Chinas shipping firm Winning Shipping has reached an agreement to buy a 180,200 dwt Capesize vessel, the Yuritamou, according to data provided by VesselsValue. The company is buying the second-hand vessel from Japan-based Doun Kisen for a price of USD 23 million. The Capesize was constructed at Japanese Imabari Shipbuilding and handed over to its owner in January 2007. VesselsValue data shows that the 289-meter-long ship has a market value of USD 21.2 million. The Panama-flagged bulker will become a part of Winning Shippings current fleet of over 30 bulk carriers with a total size of more than 5.3 million dwt. World Maritime News Staff
