Yemeni Hodeidah Port Closed

zoom Yemens port of Hodeidah has been officially announced as part of a military operations area and is closed to ships, GAC reports. Operations at Hodeidah stopped at 16.30 hours local time on Sunday, October 11, and this Red Sea port will be closed until further notice. The port authority has ordered all ships at berth to leave port and stay at anchorage until advised differently. Hodeidah is controlled by the Houthi militias and allied army units loyal to Yemens former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
