Derin Ship Agency and Management Company, the growing and developing company of the Turkish maritime industry, was established in 2008 in Istanbul/Beykoz. The company, under the leadership of Ocean Going Master and Maritime Pilot, Cpt. Nadir ÖZSOY, who had sailed in many seas of the world, started its commercial life as a Shipping Agency and Surveying Company. Combining his professional discipline and responsibility with knowledge and experience coming from the sea life, Cpt. Nadir ÖZSOY determined the first principle of the company as 'Trust and Quality'. 

In return of success and experience, Derin Gemi purchased its first ship M/V SON-1 in 2010 and expanded its targets according to meet all the needs of the customers. Realizing the growth in the commercial maritime sector, which is one of the most developing business lines in the world, the company expanded its vision and had the opportunity to expand the fleet in return for its success. Within the scope of the needs of the current time, company determined its preferred field of activity as coaster type ships. Determining its volume between the range of 1.000-12.000 DWT, the company still continues the commercial activities with 6 ships. Building its future vision on the SHIP-PORT-LOAD trilogy, Derin Shipping aims to reach the volume to operate in all ports of the world. 

In parallel with the developments in the freight markets, Company defined the owned vessels types for carrying PROJECT, IRON-STEEL and BULK cargoes and has the power to respond to all operations with its headquarters in Kartal. 

Continuing its business approach with the motto 'ALWAYS UNDERWAY', Derin Gemi continues to improve itself in order to provide a qualified service to its business partners.
