The Hanseatic Lloyd Group is a group of companies with worldwide operations whose management has many years of experience in international shipping as well as in the development and financing of ship. The entire management of the Hanseatic Lloyd Group is a team of shipping and financial experts with vast experience in the tramp and liner shipping as well as financial markets. The majority shareholder of the corporate group is the Kniffka family indirectly through Hanseatic Lloyd AG, Uttwil, Switzerland. Furthermore, through Hanseatic Lloyd Holding the Kniffka family is a 50 % shareholder of the Hansa Mare Reederei, which operates eight container vessels.
