At J. Poulsen Shipping you find a group of competent and dynamic employees who, throughout the various departments, work from the assumption that nothing is too big or too small to be handled. However, certain cargoes can demand a bit more of the parties involved. Our endless curiosity together with our ability to think “outside the box” has resulted in many years of experience shipping cargoes which other carriers find difficult to handle - for example fully erected harbour cranes, IMO & INF cargo, petrochemical equipment, catamarans and even Viking ships.

The agency department of J. Poulsen Shipping A/S, J. Poulsen Agencies, can provide all services wihtin agency matters.

Agency/clearance:
We can do clearance for all vessels calling Korsoer Port (24 hrs service) including IMO docs, custom clearance, crew change etc. Furthermore, we can offer you official weighing and are Lloyds Sub-agent and member of Danish Shipbrokers Association and FONASBA.

For vessels passing Great Belt we offer assistance with the following:
- Crew change
- Transport of stores and/or spare parts
- Assistance on salvage operations
- Delivery of lub oil in bulk and/or in drums
- Ship-to-ship operations

Stevedoring:
We offer loading and discharging of all types of cargoes; e.g. big bags, broken stones, fertilizer, grain, steel, timber, chemicals, cement, contaminated soil, project cargo etc. We offer you discharging/loading of bulk/big cargoes up to 3000 tons per day and up to 5000 tons broken stones/contaminated soil per day.

Forwarding/warehousing:
We offer you warehousing and supply of man power/personnel. We also offer you supply of forklifts up to 6-tons, bob-cats, tractor shovels - whatever you require.

Short sea chartering:
We can offer you chartering og all kinds of bulk/bag cargoes and smaller project cargoes mainly inside the Baltic, Continent, North Sea and UK. We can also offer you package solutions for any and all kinds of cargoes including sea freight, loading/discharging operations, agency, etc.

Further to our services, our joint venture Great Belt Agencies are able to provide our clients with services at Stigsn?s and Gulfhavn that includes:
- Agency
- Assistance with crew change
- Delivery of stores and spare parts
- Assistance during ship-to-ship, ship-to-shore and shore-to-ship operations
