Jack-Up Barge

Jack-Up Barge is a privately owned and Dutch registered company which was founded in 2003. The head office is situated in Sliedrecht, The Netherlands. Jack-Up Barge’s vision is to become a global offshore partner of choice, and to be the leading provider of Self Elevating Platforms. Therefore we continuously invest in safer, sustainable, and more cost-efficient operations to our partners in the offshore energy sector.

The Jack-Up Barge fleet consisted of 5 units until 2008. Jack-Up Barge was primarily a charter company in the civil construction market. After the company developed a strategic plan to grow and expand the business, Jack-Up Barge has been investing in a new build program for both modular and monohull units.

The current fleet consists of 8 units and still is expanding.

Nowadays the company not only has a strong market share in the civil construction market, but also in the offshore renewable and oil & gas industry. Our strong track record of projects demonstrate that Jack-Up Barge has proven itself to be as a professional, reliable, consistent and even more important safe working company of choice.

For the future Jack-Up Barge aim is to widen its horizon towards the Decommissioning and Well-Services markets, so that we can offer a wider range of services and support to our current- and future customers needs and projects.

All self-elevating platforms in our fleet are all certified by ABS (monohull) and GL (modular). The monohull barges are even ISPS and ISM audited and have a Planned Maintenance System implemented on board and in the office. This system registers, monitors and tracks all activities and maintenance on board of the units well as at the office.

Jack-Up Barge wants to know what is happening in the industry and continuously learn from the day to day operations of our platforms. This to achieve an overall safe and sound working environment but on shore as offshore.
