Historically, Bangladesh is a maritime nation and has antique successful history in seafaring profession. It has launched its Seafaring profession during the British Colonial period. More than 12000 (twelve thousands) seafarers are engaged on board ship throughout the globe. Bangladesh has 11 (Eleven) Maritime institutions produced dedicated seafaring officers, crew, seafaring fishermen, inland deck personnel and inland engineers. Marine Academy provides trading to seafaring officers and National Maritime institute provides training for crew/ratings. Private Maritime institutions are engaged to produce officers and conducting short courses. All of the training and certification courses are in full compliance with revised STCW convention’95 and in line with required international instrument in force. Bangladesh shipping fleet consists of 68 ocean going ships it has two sea ports. More than thousands of ocean going vessels calls in and out of Bangladesh ports with seaborne cargo every year. Bangladesh became a member of the IMO since 1975 and included in the white list. It supports the IMO’s objective in achieving safe, secure and efficient shipping on clean oceans.

Career
We are looking for motivated, disciplined and qualified officers and ratings who want to make a career in marine industry.

For our customers (potential candidates and seafarers) we are searching reliable, well paid and legal jobs. At present moment we cooperate with reputable ship owners from Singapore, Malaysia, UAE, UK, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Iran, India, Lebanon, Russia Etc.
Most our Principals offer an average contract of 4-5 months, but depending on the type of vessel and area of navigation, it could be as short as 2 month or as long as 6 month.

We offer jobs in international crews as well as contracts in russian-speaking crews.
We propose vacancies to seafarers on the basis of requirements given by our Principals and we may ask you to pass special competence and English knowledge tests.
