Turkey offers lots of possibilities in Ship-building as currently ranking as the 5th ship-building industry in the world, where all type of ships can be constructed including Navy Ships, Offshore Units, Mega Yatchs, RoRo and Pax ships.
Investment in shipyards and repair yards offers very interesting opportunities as well.
There is a possibility to invest in existing govermental operated ports as a partnership or direct ownership by privatization; these models can be utilized for the new port developments projects as well.
In the next 5 years; around 6 new port development projects will be realized offering a 15 million TEU/year capacity and these projects will aquire great attention from foreign investors.
Investing in operating private cargo train services should also be considered as possibility.
