MC5 Shipping is a South African, Black-owned shipping company that had been formed to take up a position within the South African Maritime industry, an industry that has up until now been dominated by European shipping companies. We set out to build a nationally owned and operated maritime shipping company with our own fleet of SA flagged vessels. Although challenged with competing for business against fortified and favored foreign shipping companies, particularly in our own energy and petrochemical sector, MC5 Shipping continually strives to find alternative shipping opportunities in South Africa, and/or plan to develop new ones based on necessity and demand with an emphasis on maximizing our client’s return on investment through cost-effective mapping, employing a strategic approach to accurately identifying and delivering on our customer's requirements and costs. ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
