We would like to share the business profile of our company: NORTHERN SHIPPING SERVICE AND TRADING J.S.C, which is located in the harbour city of Hai Phong, Viet Nam. At present, in operation under ISO 9001:2015, NST MARINES is on the way to become one of the professional leading crew management companies.

Established since 2008, we are specialized in the field of seafarer management, recruitment, training and placement for domestic and overseas ship owners. We also experience a long engagement in the crew manning field at the Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines). There are about 300 crew including Captains, Chief Engineers, Officers and Ratings in our management who are always ready to embark the ships.
With more than 150 officers and crew working on board the ship, they are working on board the container, general cargo, log ships and bulk carrier of Korea, Japan and European fleets.
With a long-established experience, we aim to classify officers and crew to work on board by criteria of container, general cargo, log ships and bulk carrier teams. Especially, we are supplying crew to container fleets of both domestic and overseas with about 50 officers and ratings.
NST MARINES major capability is to manage crew by the concentrative measure with managing team of skillful and professional experts who have experience in managing and training crew. Our management team includes experts who experienced in appointing, operating and managing specialized performance of crew for ship owners. They also take part into the system development of the company regarding to the recruitment, monitor, assessment, training and briefing as well as welfare for crew.
NST MARINES also operate a training centre in which crew are being trained the working skills, actual knowledge and English in accordance with IMO standards of communication phrase. All trainings are compliant with STCW 78/95-2010.
A procedure of 9 steps is also set up for recruitment, training and managing crew. With this procedure, we have a team of experts who are the experienced Captains, Chief Engineers and senior officers. They are in charge of recruiting, training, monitoring and supporting in order that officers and crew are willing to embark with the requirements from the ship owners. We also have in hand hundreds records of supplying crew who can meet the requirement of the reputable ship owners. All the crew who are under our management fulfill the duty, complete the contract of working on board and be willing to rejoin the ship.
