Academy of International Studies is the training division of Ocean plus Ship Management (I) Pvt.ltd. Ocean plus consists of a group of Master Mariners, Chief Engineers and Business Professionals having several years of experience in all aspects of the shipping industry, training in Maritime and Non Maritime colleges.

Our motto is "Striving for Excellence" thereby continually adding quality to our services.

• Master Mariner F.G.(Class 1- Deck).
• QMS Lead auditor.
• Trainer for Trainers and Assessors(TOTA).
• 16 years of experience as Officer in various types of
Merchant ships of which 5 years was as Chief Officer in Oil Tankers and last 4 years was in the capacity of Master in Oil tankers.
• Loading/ Mooring master – SBM Operations
• Director - AIS
• Previous Employers–Sanmar Shipping, BP Shipping-UK.


Capt.Renjith.V.S (Director- Operations):
• Master Mariner F.G.(Class 1- Deck)
• 15 years of experience as Officer in various types of
Merchant ships of which 7 years was as Chief Officer and last 5 years was in the capacity of Master in Bulk Carriers.
• Vessel Operator at Kochi for Cargill International, Geneva.
• Commercial Operations Manager at Shiptech Maritime Consultants,Kochi.
• Guest Faculty at Indian Maritime University, Kochi Campus.
• Guest Faculty at KM School of Marine Engineering, CUSAT, Kochi.
• Port Captain (Steel & Break Bulk) of Oldendorff Carriers, Lubeck, Germany.

Capt.Eldose.P.Paul (Director - Safety & Port Operations) :

Merchant ships of which 4 years was as Chief Officer and last 5 years was in the capacity of Master in Chemical & Oil Tankers including VLCCs.

Mr. Sanu Paul Varghese (Director – Technical) :

• Chief Engineer (Class – I MEO UK)

Merchant ships of which 4 years was as Second Engineer Officer and last 3 years was in the capacity of Chief Engineer in Oil Tankers.
