Navigation
Oceana Navigation is the group's maritime operations unit. The company's initial focus is on medium-size offshore support ships, such as platform supply vessels (PSVs), anchor handling tug supply (AHTS), in addition to underwater inspection and construction vessels.
The company has executives with a great deal of experience in the sector, and from the very start it has maintained the highest standards of safety, environment and health and operational efficiency, in addition to accident prevention programs – aligned with the highest standards of quality and processes of its parent companies.
Oceana Navigation has a strong investment plan and seeks to become an industry leader, growing its fleet in number as well as technological content, while maintaining its commitment to the domestic industry.
Shipbuilding
Under construction on a 310,000 m2 lot in the city of Itaja?, Santa Catarina, Oceana Estaleiro will employ the latest construction processes, developing cutting-edge facilities, with a contingent of 1,000 employees to build ships for the offshore-support industry. The shipyard will meet the demands of the Oceana group, as well as those of partner shipping companies.
Oceana Estaleiro was designed with key sustainability standards, such as reusing rain water, natural ventilation and lighting, in addition to a 5,500 m2 adjacent green space.
Itaja? was chosen for its well-known vocation for shipbuilding, providing trained labor and a privileged location in terms of its proximity to suppliers and clients.
The shipyard is forecast to begin operations in 2013. New project updates will be posted on our site, including career opportunities in other fields.
