The Institute has an impressive range of dedicated state-of-the-art bridge simulation and ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display & Information System) training facilities, ably supported by our highly experienced lecturing staff who have many years of operational ship handling experience as well as their teaching and assessor qualifications.

All deck officers undertaking our certification programmes have to complete mandatory specialist courses on these bridge simulators and ECDIS equipment before finally gaining their professional certification.
