SC Atlantic Ship Management (ASM Odessa)
SC “Atlantic Ship Management” (ASM Odessa) was officially founded on February 11th, 2011. However, the core management staff of the company, as well as its recruited sea personnel, is comprised of professionals with an average of 20 years of experience in the industry, mostly from the State Black Sea Shipping Company and the Arctic Sea Shipping Company. Many of these individuals are specifically experience in liner operation in the North Atlantic, including ice navigation of the Baltic and St. Lawrence River areas.
In 2011, ASM Odessa concluded a long-term partnership for ship management and crewing services with two international liner companies, namely Atlantic Ro-Ro Carriers Inc. (ARRC) and Canada States Africa Lines Inc. (CSAL).
Presently, the shore-based personnel of ASM is offering professional, shipping, technical and manning services to our clients, the ship-owners. The average retention rate of our sea personnel is about 95 percent and over 200 seafarers working under long-term contracts.
All ships under ASM management operate in full compliance with USCG, Paris MoU and RightShip Inspection rules and requirements. ASM managed ships have an impeccable reputation in Europe, USA, Canada, Southern Africa and Russia.
Due to our reputation and safety record, ASM is able to attract and employ only the most qualified seafarers for work on currently managed fleet of Ro-Ro and Lo-Ro vessels.
The future of ASM will include an expansion of its offered services for all its clientele, via:
– A fully computerized system for ship management
– Application of new methods in technical management
– Constant improvement and upgrading of the level of proficiency of both our ship and shore personnel.
We offer complete crew administration and recruitment services including crew payroll handling to assist with payment of crew salary over Ukrainian Banks.
