YASA SHIPPING

YASA SHIPPING was established in April 1999 and the Company started to place bulk carrier new building orders at Tsuneishi Japan and Tsuneishi Cebu shipyards in June 1999. The first vessels of Tess-52 type bulk carriers were taken delivery in October 2000 and at the end of year 2001, the Company owned brand new 6 Supramax bulk carriers with total DWT of 314,494 mt

The company grew bulk carrier fleet by taking in vessels under management at 2005 in addition to owned vessels. At the year 2006, the Company was controlling 13 bulk carriers, inclusive owned 6 Supramax bulk carriers, with total DWT of 826,119 mt. The company sold 4 owned supramax bulk carriers at 2006 and continued expending the controlled fleet by taking 6 more bulk carriers till the end of year 2008. At the end of year 2008, the Company was controlling 15 bulk carriers, inclusive owned 2 Supramax bulk carriers, with total DWT of 1,338,569 mt.

As of December 2012 company is controlling 19 modern bulk carriers, which constitutes 1 Capesize, 7 Kamsarmax, 2 Panamax, 10 Supramax with total DWT of 1,338,569 mt and average fleet age is 4.7 Years Old at the end of 2012 period. All vessels are operated under the International Safety Management Code and additionally certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards by Class NK.

Our business principle is to manage all the vessels in maximum Safety , Quality and Environmental Management and Occupational Health Standarts and this has been the prime target of Yasa Shipping since the beginning.
