The position
As a Chief Officer DPO, you will be responsible for vessel surveillance, security, loading and maintenance. You will be at the head of a multinational team of employees.
Other duties:
- In addition to being responsible for the maritime duties listed, the safe and efficient performance of various DP (Dynamic Positioning) manoeuvres.
- Handling maintenance and repair of all Offshore systems on board.
- Regular trips abroad in conjunction with the position.
We ask for
- At least a secondary vocational degree.
- Experience as Chief Officer.
- You must hold a DP unlimited certificate, a valid navigation licence, a muster book, and STCW certificates and you must have passed a medical (offshore) examination.
- You must be flexible and work well under stress.
- A good command of the English language.
- Your skills will be needed worldwide, and you must be prepared to spend shorter or longer periods of time abroad.
