2 ENGINEER ON PASSENGER

Requirements:
· Good knowledge of the English language
· Experience with diesel electric engines
· Valid Dutch documents: Second Engineer endorsement, seamansbook and medical examination
Embarkation date: March 9th in Ushuaia, Argentina ( He should be in Ushuaia on March 8th)
Disembarkation date: June 8th in Hansweert, the Netherlands
Region: Antarctic
Day wage rate: 100 – 120 USD
Brief job description:
The second engineer forms part of the Engine room watch.
He has delegated responsibility from the CE over the (but not limited to) following systems:- 10 zodiacs with outboard engines and 2 gangways on starboard side, guaranteeing a smooth zodiac, the EDG, fresh, grey and blackwater, lifting appliances, passenger entertaining apparatus, hotel department equipment.
