Technical Inspector for Tankers (m/w)
To ensure the optimal care of the fleet, we have a dedicated team for each segment of ships. In the teams the specialists from the areas operating, purchasing, crewing and inspection are closely linked. The closeness of the different specialists guarantees a quick and effective way of working. We can offer a diversified and challenging job as a technical inspector (m / w) in our experienced team that currently manages 11 tankers technically.
Your responsibilities
- The supervision of the dedicated ships in all technical aspects
- Regular inspection of dedicated ships
- The planning and preparation of maintenance and repairs onboard and by the shipyard
- Inspection and control of observance of all laws, regulations, rules and instructions regarding the technical ship management - Controlling the costs of technical support for the ships caused by planned or forced actions
- Technical reporting
Your profile
You have completed an apprenticeship as Marine Engineer (CI, CT oder CMA licence) or have equivalent qualifications and ideally already gained experience as Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer on board of tankers. You are familiar with a modern Planned Maintenance System and QA-Systems. Fluent English as well as a safe handling of MS Office products and the willingness to travel complete your profile.
