We are looking for you to fill the following position:
Ship Superintendent (m/f)
Your Responsibilities:
• Communicating and collaborating with the Captains, Chief Engineers and key members of the teams on board
• Implementing of statutory and technical HESS procedures, preparation of and participation in internal and external audits
• Planning and execution of technical repair and maintenance in most cost efficient way, including participating in dry-dockings
• Coordination of all repair and maintenance (safety, technical, electrical, hotel)
• Participating in the development and empowerment of senior leadership teams on board
• Ensure full compliance with classification, flag state or other rules or relevance under the convention and standards of SOLAS, MARPOL, IMO, PHS, etc. and with new legislations coming into force
• Account for financial planning, cost monitoring, budgeting concerning R&M and spare parts management
Your Profile:
• Master´s degree or similar in ship technology or nautical engineering or naval architecture
• Desirably 3 years professional experience in the maritime sector
• Experience in junior leadership and project management
• Fluent English and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and maintenance programs
• Confident demeanor, a high degree of result orientation and ability to communicate effectively
