Scope (A brief statement of overall responsibilities)
Responsible for all job related to mechanical job onboard as well as in workshop. Responsible for foremen and workers in his section.
Preferred Competencies:
Good mechanical knowledge.
Technical school which last at least 2 years.
Practical work in his field at least 15 years in different positions.
Able to handle all relevant mechanical work m board of ships.
Trained in management, people relations and planning.
Good experience from VLCC tankers is an advantage.
Good communication skills.
