Able Seamen/Oiler

Certificate of competency as an Able Seaman and Engine Rating - Meet the requirements for certification as a rating forming part of a navigational watch, have completed 18 months approved seagoing service in the deck department, or 12 months and completed approved training.
Forming part of a watch in manned engine room or designated to perform duties in a periodically unmanned engine room. have completed approved seagoing service including no less than six months training and experience or special training not less than six months training and experience, or special training, either pre- sea or onboard ship, including an apporved period of seagoing service which meet the standard of competence specified in section A-II/4 of the STCW code

Survival Craft and rescue Boats
Advanced fire fighting
Meets the medical fitness and eyesight standards as required for seafarers by the IMO (Produce a valid medical fitness certificate issued by an apporved medical practitioner showing the date of examination and the period of validity)
