Duties & Responsibilities
-Manage and direct the workflow and safe operations of the repair & reconditioning activities in the workshop, vessels and at customer locations
-Monitor daily reports to ensure work in process, and technician efficiency standards are met
-Establish work performance plans and standards for employees
-Ensure the proper repair & reconditioning of our customers’ diverse types of equipment
-Ensure safety procedures and guidelines are followed and corrective action taken to address deficiencies
-Ensure general housekeeping is maintained to provide a hazard free work environment
-Manage administrative operations, through the business cycle (from initial Customer contact to completing the order/repair, and expediting the billing)
-Work directly with customers to resolve issues and ensure customer expectations are met
Requirements
- Diplomas or Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
- Posses class 2 certificate or class 3 with 5 year shipboard experience
- Min 5 yrs working experience operating & managing a marine and overhauling repair workshop
- Wide knowledge of 2 stroke / 4 stroke and other equipment found in this machinery spare, purifiers, air compressors, pumps & etc
- Must possess organization skill, resourceful, energetic and a great team player
- Able to lead teams of engineers / technicians
- Class 3 license is require
- Possess good communication skill, both written & spoken in English Location: Worldwide
