Job Title: Operator of Water-Jetting and Painting Machine (HTC)
Length of contract: Max. 1 Year
Location of job: Worldwide, mainly Singapore

Company background: The HUBERT PALFINGER TECHNOLOGIES GmbH is developing and producing access and maintenance systems for the offshore and maritime industry. The recent development is a fully automated system for hull treatment doing washing, water-jetting (blasting) and coating applications on ship hulls when dry docking, named HTC (Hull Treatment Carrier).

Summary of role: For the HTC we are now seeking operators for our equipment at JURONG shipyard (SEMBCORP MARINE) in Singapore and other locations, being able to operate the system, proceed water-jetting (blasting) and coating applications on ship hulls. Prepare the equipment for operation and maintain the equipment after processing.

Responsibilities
- Operating the HTC from operator control cabin (training will be provided)
- Control the water jetting and coating process
- Prepare and setup the equipment before operation in dock
- Maintain and overhaul the equipment after operation
- Working in a team of 4 - 6 technicians and operators



Essential and desirable criteria
- Computer/PC Navigation
- MS Windows (Word/Excel)
- English (verbal & written)
- Basic Mathematics
- Basic technical understanding
- Previous operation of machinery by remote/joystick beneficial
- Personal attributes: spatial awareness, logical thinking, quick acting/reactions, responsible and team player
- Staying abroad for longer periods, travel world wide
