Chief Operation Officer

Responsibilities
• Provide Leadership and Line Management to the entire operations and asset management team
• Overall responsibility for the safety, on time performance and reliability of the operations
• Develop and manage operational budgets
• Strategic planning and implementation
• Develop standard operating procedures and focus on continuous improvement of the operational performance
• Develop and maintain efficient rostering and staff allocation procedures
• Measuring and reporting on the operational performance
• Regularly review and further develop the Safety Management System and Vessel Operations Manuals
• Ensure the safe and exemplary maintenance of all jetties, boats and dockyards
• Ensure all operations meet the required legislation and regulations
• Stakeholder management and leadership.
• Establish YWB as a market leader for best practice in the maritime industry in Myanmar
• Manage the Training, Development and career path of operational staff
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
• Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
• Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
