Construction Manager

The main responsibilities of the Construction Manager are:
Execution of construction and fabrication activities to complete the work scope in accordance with the contract and requirements related to quality, safety, health, environment and security;
Managing the construction crew and the project activities;
Motivation and performance of construction crew;
Communication and co-operation within construction crew and between construction crew and other disciplines/parties;
Reporting daily progress on offshore operations and any non- conforming occurrences;
Control of documentation related to construction and fabrication activities;
Communication with Barge Master about marine- and construction activities;
Liaising with Project Manager about Project matters;
Representing the Company;
Effective use of the PTW System;
Identifying and reporting of areas of concern;
Stimulating and realizing optimization and improvements in his area of responsibility including team building, preventive maintenance, safety, loss prevention, reliability of equipment, health care, reducing environmental impact, etc.;
Support the tender department and project teams through sharing operational knowledge.
Requirements for this position:
Bachelor in engineering or equivalent;
Management skills training;
Relevant offshore training;
Minimum of 10 years of experience in an operational role with regard to offshore installation projects;
Good knowledge of Company Management System (CMS) ensuring compliance to quality, safety, health, environment and safety (QHSES) requirements;
Good knowledge of English language both written and spoken.
