Some of the main responsibilities of the Analysis Engineer are:
Delivery of allocated analysis engineering within the Central Engineering department and Tender department;
Assisting and aiding in reinforcing, checking and expanding client’s standard engineering procedures/processes and documents;
Completion of allocated project tasks in compliance with Engineering Standards, Safety Policies and Assurance objectives;
Identify all risks associate with the allocated engineering tasks. Ensure that they are mitigated as far as reasonably practicable and provide updates to Project Manager for maintenance of the project risk register;
Actively support the other engineers and the development of their technical competence;
Prepare installation engineering calculations to determine suitable installation methodologies and limiting criteria in accordance with project specifications and Engineering Standards for task allocated;
Perform pipeline installation analysis using industry standard software;
Perform subsea lifting and lowering analysis using industry standard software;
Requirements for this position:
Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering or Science based discipline;
Minimum 5 years engineering / tendering experience, proven track record of analysis engineering work in the oil and gas industry for a leading offshore oil and gas contractor;
Pipeline installation software experience;
Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in English language;
Ability to prioritise the workload;
Flexibility in switching between different types of engineering and other required duties;
Hands-on mentality;
Experience with detail engineering / supervision, installation engineering calculations and procedures, installation equipment specification and temporary works design / engineering;
Good working knowledge of all Microsoft programmes and MathCAD software.
