Marine Superintendent

Minimum Qualification Required :
5-6 years of relevant experience in similar industry
Sailing Experience and ability to handle seafarers
Customer Handling Process and Satisfaction
English Language and computer knowledge
Relevant technical Degree with Master Mariner Certificate
Job Description :
Liaison with Ship’s Masters for all ship operations & Communications.
Raise & Maintain vessel standards to ensure company, national, international & classification society standards are met.
Establish & maintain good working relations with clients in offshore fields.
Control of plan maintenance regarding hull & deck for all vessels.
Assist and support ship’s staff to achieve operational objectives and ensure industry rules & regulation changes are implemented throughout the fleet.
Budget control and revision & co-ordination of Budget application.
Advise Personnel & Administration, services supplier and Financial services supplier on all matters regarding Fleet services.
Recruitment, appointment, performance training, welfare, Pay negotiation, movement allocation and discipline of all sea staff.
Preparation, modification and revision of all crew contracts.
Liaison with Fleet & technical manager and Engg. Supdt. regarding recruitment and placement of all technical staff.
Liaison between all departments, ships, sea staff, clients & suppliers on all matters concerning safety.
Check & approve the deck department’s material requisitions other than victual lings.
Any other duties assigned by the Fleet & Technical Manager.
