PROJECTMANAGER NEWBUILDING & PROJECTS M/F
The position
In this comprehensive role you will work on and co-ordinate the architecture and quality control of newbuilding, modification and conversion projects and you will advise other departments on your areas of expertise. We expect you to keep up with and anticipate on market and technical developments, new legislation and to spot trends that can benefit the company. In co-operation with your colleague and superior you will prepare project plans and, after approval, ascertain the plans are executed as agreed. In liaison with your supervisor you consult domestic and foreign yards, design and engineering agencies and suppliers during the projects.
Seatrade requires
-Minimum bachelor or Academic degree in Naval Architecture, Shipbuilding, or Maritime Engineering and Technology.
-Preferably several years work experience in ship repairs, conversion and newbuilding & projects.
-An innovative and hands-on professional who is eager to develop in the field of ship newbuilding & projects.
-A person who is able to function optimally individually as well as within a team and has proven Project Management skills.
-Fluent in English, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Willingness to travel worldwide occasionally.
