Assistant Chief Housekeeping
The contract foresees 9 months on board +\- 1 month. Salary is 1410 USD + 555 EURO and paid only during the period spent on board. Employer pays all travel costs. Age between 18 and 45 years old.
Requirements:
$11. A minimum of 3 completed contracts as a Senior Cabin Steward on an Internationally-trading Guest vessel, or a minimum of 2 years as a Room Attendant or Floor supervisor in a Five-Star International Hotel. Proven multi-operational skills in Cruise Ship Housekeeping operation in a multinational environment.
$12. Directly responsible for cleanliness and disinfection of Guest public areas, Guest public bathrooms and toilets, Guest, Officer and Staff cabins. Assistance with Cabin Changes.
$13. The Assistant Housekeeper is to be able to deputize in every way for the Housekeeper in times of need. This responsibility includes complete supervision of the cleaning, disinfection, service and standards of the entire housekeeping department. Assistant Housekeepers are to read also the Position Description of the Housekeeper in order that they understand the responsibilities associated with the position.
$14. Fluent in oral and written English (working & Safety language of the Company). Ability to speak, read and write in any major other languages (German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian, Chinese etc.) is considered a major advantage that could eventually influence the selection for some positions.
$15. Non-Smoker.
$16. To satisfy the requirements of the laws of the Flag State of the Ship regarding health and physical requirements, and to have current documentation to certify that all medical requirements relating to this position are met according to the specific requirements of the job.
