Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Rigs, Barges
- Coordinate and ensure that all mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment maintenance and repair is done in a safe and prudent manner
- Ensure compliance to Company policies, local and international regulations relating to the operation of the barge, and current pollution regulations
- Oversee classification society surveys as part of continuous survey of machinery.
- Inform the Barge Master, Head Office technical Department and other department heads of any technical problems or limitations that may affect the safe operation of the Barge
· - Maintain an adequate supply of spares to fulfill maintenance requirements and facilitate a safe and efficient operation. Generate requisitions as required.
- Experience in the offshore construction industry with experience in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively to all Coastal ranks, Charterers and Clients
- shall ensure that all applicable requirements of the Port State are fully implemented and complied with.
- Area Operation: Abu Dhabi
- All STCW certificates issued within last 5 years and must be valid with minimum 2 (Two) years
- Must posses 1st Class certificate of Master Marine (Unlimited Master) License and CDC - (flag state COC are not excepted – ex. Panama, Belize etc.)
- Contract: 45 days on - 1 OFF
- Joining: Tentatively 2nd week of February
- Salary, will be based on experience.
