Marine Superintendent

Responsibilities:

• Manage the operations of the company's fleet of offshore vessels
• Implementation of Safety Management System on vessels
• Conduct on-site vessel inspections and audits
• Day to day communications with charterers
• Prepare operations report (On/off hire report, Audit report, Downtime report etc)
• Provide operations and sailing instructions to Ship Master
• Conduct performance assessment for Vessels’ Key appointment holders and review crew assessment reports submitted by Ship Masters
• Handle general marine matters

Requirements:

• Class 3 Certification of Competency (COC) or Diploma in Offshore Shipbuilding/Nautical Studies/Marine Engineering – Offshore experience with Master Mariner qualification preferred
• Knowledge of MPA regulations, SIR (Seamen section) regulation and ISM
• Familiarity with ISM / ISPS
• Multi-tasker
• Adaptable and flexible
• Ability to travel within short notice as required
